Soyaworld Launches New So Good Soyaccino Nationwide
Cappuccino-style beverage rich coffee flavour, high in soy protein, low in fat and fully fortified.
Vancouver - Quenching the thirst for consumers nationwide, SoyaWorld announces the launch of So Good Soyaccino, a new variety of its popular So Good soy beverage line. Soyaccino, a cappuccino-style, rich coffee flavour beverage will be available to retailers in September. Offered in a convenient new 440 ml gable top carton, So Good Soyaccino will be sold in the refrigerated section of grocery and selected convenience stores, next to the popular So Good flavours: Original, Vanilla, Fat Free, Chocolate, and Strawberry.

The launch of So Good Soyaccino will be supported by an integrated consumer marketing campaign that includes national print advertising, radio, and advertising in selected health clubs. The campaign will also include public relations, sampling, plus an in-store program consisting of point-of-sale materials and coupons, among other activities. The new beverage has a suggested retail price of $1.49 per 440 ml.

So Good Soyaccino - A Winner with Good Taste and Nutrition
So Good Soyaccino is a low-fat, cholesterol, lactose and caffeine-free soy beverage made from non-genetically modified soy by Identity Preservation. With a smooth and refreshing taste, So Good Soyaccino is fortified with a high level of calcium, vitamin D, B12 and other essential vitamins and minerals. So Good Soyaccino contains more than 9 grams of protein per 250mL serving and carries the Heart and Stroke Foundation's Health Check logo, which cites this beverage as a nutritionally adequate alternative to 1% milk.

Retail Launch Supported by National In-Store Program
The launch of So Good Soyaccino will be supported by a national in-store program, consisting of a 50-cent manufacturer's rebate coupon to encourage trial and purchase. Shelf talkers will also be featured to further drive awareness for the product.

So Good Soyaccino Focus of Fall Marketing Program
SoyaWorld is supporting the launch of So Good Soyaccino (September through December) as part of a highly targeted national, English-language marketing program, valued at close to $1 Million. A public relations program employing health professional spokespeople will focus on the health benefits of soy and new recipe suggestions. A national print advertising campaign will launch in women's service magazines including Canadian Living, Today's Parent, Homemakers, Chatelaine, Reader's Digest and Elm Street in September through to December issues. The print campaign will be supplemented by a radio overlay and health club advertising in Toronto and Vancouver.

So Good is Canada's leading soy beverage brand with a 39 per cent market share for the 4-week period ending June 17, 2000. Total market share for all SoyaWorld brands is more than 60 per cent in Canada's $38 million soy beverage market
